The Health Lottery Re-Launches Affiliate Programme in Partnership with Income Access

Re-vamped affiliate programme for the UK’s second most popular lottery brand to be managed by Income Access using company softwareMontreal, QC. September 29th, 2015 – The Health Lottery, a London, UK-based lottery brand operated by Northern and Shell and comprising 51 local society lotteries representing local authority areas across the country, has re-launched its affiliate programme in partnership with Income Access, a technology and digital marketing services provider for the global iGaming industry. The Health Lottery’s new affiliate programme has integrated with Income Access’ award-winning affiliate management platform and will be managed by the company’s in-house team.

Launched in 2011 and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, The Health Lottery, which is today the UK’s most popular lottery after the National Lottery, provides lottery games to players online or at 32,000 national retail outlets. Offering British players the most affordable lottery option in the country, the brand features a 50 pence ticket that provides the chance to win £25,000 every Tuesday and Friday as well as a £1 ticket allowing players to win up to £100,000 every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Generating over £68 million since launch for UK charities such as Mencap, Dementia UK, and the Alzheimer’s Society among others, The Health Lottery recently rebranded itself. In addition to new celebrity brand ambassador Anthea Turner, the rebranding has involved the re-launch of The Health Lottery’s affiliate programme, which will now be powered by Income Access’ affiliate management platform, the recipient of eGR’s B2B ‘Affiliate Software’ Award for the last three consecutive years.

To celebrate the re-launch of The Health Lottery’s affiliate programme, the brand is offering new affiliates a promotion when they register with the programme. During their first three months, they will receive a cash bonus for every new depositing player, as well as an ongoing 20% revenue share of the net gaming revenues (NGR) from these players.

Following the end of the promotion, affiliates’ commissions revert to a standard revenue share commission structure. They will receive 20% of the NGR on all new-depositing players they refer each month.

“The Health Lottery values its affiliates highly and we’ve therefore decided to re-launch our affiliate programme in partnership with Income Access, whose easy-to-use, top-of-the-line software will allow affiliates to maximize their earning potential promoting our brand,” said Stan Myerson, Joint Managing Director at Northern and Shell. “Income Access’ long-standing reputation in the gaming industry and in affiliate management will help support The Health Lottery’s entry into new markets.”

The affiliate programme for The Health Lottery will be managed by Income Access’ team of affiliate managers, who have multiple years’ experience managing brands in the European lottery vertical.

“We’re excited to support The Health Lottery’s acquisition via the affiliate channel with a programme managed by our internal team using our platform,” said Nicky Senyard, founder and CEO of Income Access. “Given the brand’s prestige and importance in the UK market, its new-look affiliate programme provides an important revenue opportunity for not just lottery affiliates but those working in other verticals as well.”

The Health Lottery can be played online or in-store at 32,000 retail outlets.

The five weekly live draw shows will air on Channel 5 at 9.55pm on draw nights. Players are 7 times more likely to win our jackpots than the National Lottery.  Odds of winning on The Health Lottery are 1 in 2.1 million compared to 1 in 14 million on the National Lottery. From October 2015, players will be 21 times more likely to win The Health Lottery jackpots than the National Lottery.  Odds of winning on The Health Lottery will remain at 1 in 2.1 million whilst the odds of winning Lotto’s jackpot move to 1 in 45 million.
