Our Team to Give Their Insights in Panel Discussion at G2E 2018

By On

Once again, our execs will be attending the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas. The American gaming industry’s largest annual conference, G2E 2018 runs from next Monday, 8th Oct., to Thursday 11th Oct., and includes an affiliate marketing educational session featuring our Market Director Erica Anderson.

This year’s G2E at the Sands Expo Conference Center will be a landmark event following the repeal in May of PASPA, the country-wide federal ban on single-event sports-betting outside of Nevada. To say our team and the US gaming industry have big hopes for the conference is an understatement!

Our US Affiliate Market Educational Session

Our team – including our General Manager Tara Wilson, VP of Strategy Sarafina Wolde Gabriel, and Director of Client Services Geoff Smorong as well as Erica – arrive in Vegas this weekend. Conference week kicks-off Monday, Oct. 8th, and day one’s highlight will be our educational session at 3:30 p.m. PDT on affiliate marketing, titled ‘Affiliate Marketing Grows Up: Implications for the US Regulated Online Gambling Market’.

Alongside Erica on the panel in room Veronese 2403 of the Sands Expo will be Chris Grove of leading US-focused affiliate Catena Media. The operator perspective will be provided by Tropicana Entertainment’s VP of Online & Internet Marketing Christopher Capra and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (Atlantic City)’s Lee Terfloth, the property’s Director of Online Gaming Product.

Given the panelists’ experience in the New Jersey affiliate market, the Garden State’s evolution since its launch in 2013 will serve as a starting point for the discussion. The panelists will also look at online poker in Nevada from an affiliate perspective, as well as other verticals such as horse-racing wagering, daily fantasy sports (DFS) and, more recently, iLottery.

Of course, post-PASPA, a big part of the discussion will be about sports-betting and the market’s future. Will the rise of online sports-betting galvanizes other states to follow New Jersey and, more recently, Pennsylvania, in regulating online casino and poker? Find out what Erica and the other experts think next Monday!

G2E Week Continues...

The panel will just be the start of our team taking the pulse on the US market and sharing our own insights. After all, we’ve learned a lot from managing the affiliate programs of leading US gaming brands like Caesars, Harrah’s, and WSOP.com as well as the Michigan and Pennsylvania state lotteries.

Erica, Tara, Sarafina and our other execs will be in Vegas for the whole conference. If you’d like to schedule some time with them, reach out to our Communications Manager Nick Say.
