Our General Manager Tara Wilson Named Stevie Award Finalist

By On

At Income Access, we’re extremely excited to see our General Manager Tara Wilson continue to receive recognition for her hard work and dedication, having been named a finalist for Female Executive of the Year in Canada at the upcoming Stevie Awards for Women in Business. This honour follows Tara’s SupportHER Award win at last month’s Canadian Business Chick’s Women of Inspiration Gala.

The 15th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business are scheduled to take place in New York City on Friday, November 16th at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel. Considered the world's premier business awards for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organisations they run, the Stevie Awards will recognise achievements in over 70 categories.

Leading by Example

As a VP at Paysafe Group from 2015 to 2017, Tara oversaw initiatives to help staff establish career paths in their departments and improve performance. Since assuming the role of Income Access GM in October 2017, Tara’s presences and leadership has had a similar impact, proving instrumental in driving the company’s focus on emerging markets and business opportunities within key sectors.

These efforts contributed to Income Access taking home a fourth consecutive ‘Acquisition & Retention Partner of the Year’ award at the 2018 eGR North America Awards earlier this year.

Tara has also imparted, throughout the entire Income Access team, her belief in leading through authenticity and integrity. These qualities have led her to dedicate her time to several important initiatives, including her passionate advocacy for and mentoring of women in business as well as being heavily involved in fundraising efforts for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

The Stevie Awards

This year’s Stevie Awards will be complemented by the inaugural edition of the Women|Future Conference, which will feature an array of leading female professionals in revolutionary industries, including artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity and international trade. Each will share their own unique perspective of how issues within these sectors will affect women entrepreneurs, executives, and employees in their careers and business ventures.
