Joining Income Access at our booth at the London Affiliate Conference (LAC), which took place earlier this month, were some of our leading iGaming partners, including Long Harbour Casino, the Malta-based online casino offering a wide range of slots, table games, video poker and lottery games.

While at LAC, we sat down for a tête-à- tête with Maria Florides, Affiliate Programme Manager at Long Harbour. Maria told us all about the operator’s latest launches and shared her thoughts about the importance of the affiliate channel.

Income Access: Tell us all about the new launches Long Harbour has announced at LAC and the reactions to them you’ve received from affiliates and other industry leaders.

Maria Florides, Affiliate Programme Manager: Long Harbour Casino works alongside B3W, the online gaming provider of casino and poker platforms. Since last November, we’ve launched and integrated games from leading software providers such as Cryptologic, iGaming2go, NextGen Gaming and Microgaming.

At Long Harbour Casino, we are keen to provide the highest level of service. We therefore give priority to listening to the needs of our affiliate partners and players in order to maximize quality. At LAC, we’ve received extremely positive reactions from affiliates eager to promote us. Other industry leaders at the conference seemed highly impressed with our marketing team and the Long Harbour brand and affiliate programme.IA: Do you have any upcoming launches related to the the FIFA World Cup that will help football fans celebrate their most important event in four years? Aside from the World Cup, what other releases do you have scheduled for 2014?MF: We are currently waiting for the launch and integration of our brand new sports book platform, and are considering the possibility of adding FIFA-related promotions. We want to maximise every marketing opportunity and are very keen to make sure we offer the highest level of service on each product, so Long Harbour will only launch new products when we know the time is right.

Looking forward, we are very excited about the Net Ent Games integration, which will be announced in the next few months, and we are going to include great progressive jackpots and promotions.IA: LAC is Europe’s most important affiliate marketing event. How important for your brands is the affiliate channel?MF: Long Harbour considers that the affiliate channel plays a vital role for building the reputation and success of our current and future brands. Our experience at LAC provided us with great opportunities for building and expanding affiliate partnerships, which will be mutually beneficial and profitable to both affiliates and Long Harbour Casino.

We leverage the affiliate channel by providing our partners with state-of-the-art brands, generous commissions, high quality support and timely payments. Our affiliate programme can be described as a quality-driven and transparent service, which provides our partners with high-end tracking, reporting, and includes all the tools necessary for maximizing high revenues.IA: What are your forecasts for both the iGaming and affiliate industries in 2014?MF: 2014 will be an extremely exciting year for both the iGaming and affiliate industries. As market competition increases, reputation and quality will be essential to growth and longevity in the industry.

Operators and affiliates will need to adopt the latest mobile technologies, making sure that their products will be user friendly, functional and with superior graphics. Improvements to software automation should also become more refined and user-friendly for reporting, statistics and analysis. Networking and social media should be at the forefront of marketing strategy for both affiliates and operators with emphasis on reliable and mutually-beneficial relationships.

Income Access: Thank you, Maria. We hope that both you and Long Harbour Casino have a highly successful year!
