Our Team is Attending the Inaugural ICE Africa Next Week

Next week marks the arrival of the highly-anticipated inaugural edition of ICE Africa and Income Access is excited to have team members both in attendance and presenting. The event will take place at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa from 24th Oct. to 25th Oct. and features a wide-range of speakers and panellists, including Income Access VP of Strategy Sarafina Wolde Gabriel.

Joining Sarafina in Johannesburg will be Income Access Global Head of Sales Jonathan Vintner.ICE Africa, which will claim its place as the only pan-African B2B gaming event, will be highlighted by three different tracks of panel discussions and workshops: advanceAFRICA, networkAFRICA and microscopeAFRICA. Sarafina will participate in the latter of these tracks as a moderator for a panel discussion entitled - An untapped resource: Affiliate marketing for the African operator.Taking place on Thursday, 25thOct. at 12:05 p.m. SAST, the panel will bring together the insights of several experienced stakeholders from across Africa’s iGaming landscape. Panellists include: Martin Sack, Group Manager (Online Business Development), Sun International; Dev Karia, Managing Director, Cheki Odds Kenya; Mark McGuinness, Chief Marketing Officer, Olimp Bookmakers (BetOlimp) and Dennis Muigai, Communications Director, Lotto & Lotto Foundation.

Affiliate marketing, already a well-established practice in the European market and one that has made significant inroads in the US, now looks poised to build on its potential within Africa. The panel will explore this potential from an introductory perspective (What is affiliate marketing?) as well as a strategic one, looking at how affiliate marketing data can be used to hone in on a given target audience.

Representing 24 African nations and 89 worldwide, ICE Africa has a robust conference agenda, which includes a total of 18 events across the three previously mentioned content tracks. Spanning a comprehensive list of topics, including regulation, mobile payment solutions, and blockchain, the conference has assembled approximately 50 speakers.
